The Harvard Semitic Museum sponsors archaeological field research into the complex societies of the Near East, with special emphasis on those ancient cultures related to the world of the Bible. Each year more than 100 staff, students, and volunteers participate in the Ashkelon Excavations (The Leon Levy Expedition), led by Museum Director and Dorot Professor of the Archaeology of Israel Lawrence E. Stager. Here you will find videos recorded from the field by Harvard Semitic Museum Assistant Curator, Dr. Adam Aja.
